So you moved to Minnesota

 

So I moved to Minnesota 10 days ago. In the last 10 days I’ve done the following:

1. Bought a car (Subaru Forrester)     
2. Put my belongings in storage
3. House hunted and……
4. Bought a house.

OMG I BOUGHT A HOUSE IN MINNESOTA!!!!

Needless to say I’ve been busy. If you haven’t received s personal phone call, text or email from me recently, I’m sorry. Friday I hit my melt down point and had a good cry. The stress of selling a car & condo in California, packing up my life and dog and moving it to the Midwest, putting it in storage, buying a car and a house finally hit me. Going on adventures is fun, but it’s also a lot of work. Making big life changes requires a lot of physical & emotional energy. So I decided it was ok to cry. Then I decided it was ok to drink a Gin & Tonic (thank you Fever Tree tonic water & Hendriks Gin!). I’m learning that as a slow mover, tortoise rather than hair personality, it’s ok to give myself time to be quiet and relax after times of “sprinting.”
